IT Engineer - Intern
Job Description:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Provide technical support for end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Support the monitoring and maintenance of IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Help diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Participate in routine system maintenance, updates, and security checks.
- Assist in documenting IT processes, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and technical solutions.
- Support inventory management of IT equipment and software assets.
- Collaborate with team members on IT projects, system upgrades, and technology initiatives.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in information technology.
Job Requirements
- 4th year college student taking Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and hardware troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in school or personal IT projects is an advantage.
