Technical Project Manager
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in IT Software development project management.
- Proven experience in software project management, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages, databases, and software development tools.
- Excellent leadership skills, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills to coordinate with team members, stakeholders, vendors, and Management.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills to ensure projects are on track based on the set timeline.
- Preferably with Project Management Professional Certification or related certification.
As a Technical Project Manager of OPSOLUTIONS you will play a crucial role in driving the successful execution of complex software projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of projects, from initial planning to final delivery.
Job Description:
- Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects. Ensures projects are delivered based on the outlined objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate solutions impeccably within the project framework, ensuring alignment with the project objectives.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with development teams to define technical requirements, effort, and solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of software-based applications.
- Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that deliverables meet technical qualifications and adhere to industry standards.
- Collaborate between technical and non-technical stakeholders and be able to bridge the gap between different functional areas within the project.
- Measure project performance using applicable systems, tools, and techniques.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project factors.
- Form and sustain comprehensive project documentation.
- Report and escalate to the Management any issues concerning the project, as needed.
